Say hello to the Education/Children's Ministry team members at Plainfield UMC.

Carey Michels serves as the Director of Children's Ministry at PUMC. A Plainfield resident since 2018, Carey and her family have been active members of the church community.

Carey brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role. She works full-time for the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning as the Pregnancy Promise Program Project Specialist, a program that helps pregnant individuals with substance use disorders and their families find the resources they need to succeed.

Children's programming has always been a significant part of Carey's life, and she is excited to build upon the strong foundation of children's ministry at PUMC. She looks forward to getting to know the church members better and exploring ways to develop the children's program within the church and the local community.
