Brent Miller serves as the Director of Music at PUMC, leading the Sanctuary Choir and the Handbell Choir.

A lifelong United Methodist, Brent's passion for music began at a young age. Growing up as a "P.K." (Preacher's Kid) in a home filled with music, he participated in various United Methodist church music programs. His musical journey began with piano lessons at age 4 and expanded to include trumpet, French horn, organ, and handbells. After years of instrumental performance and study, he discovered a passion for choral music during graduate school, dedicating his professional studies to the art of vocal ensembles.

Brent brings a wealth of experience to PUMC, including years as a radio announcer and a full-time Choral Instructional Assistant at Decatur Central High School. He enjoys singing in men's quartets, cooking, watching sports, and playing (and collecting) Monopoly games.

Brent is dedicated to continuing the legacy of successful Music Ministries at PUMC and working with talented individuals to create music that glorifies God. 

Brandon Denman has attended and played music at PUMC for the past 15 years. He started playing with the youth band, More Than Conquerors, and has volunteered at the New Day Service. He loves having the privilege of leading worship and connecting with others.
