School Year Program
During the school year children in the morning program play quiet games, join in physical fitness activities, and enjoy electronics until they are transported by PUMC vans to their schools.
In the afternoon, the children are picked up at their schools and brought back to the church, have a snack (that is provided by Kids Connection), and complete homework with help of adult teachers and high school aides. The children then spend the remainder of their time in crafts, games, and supervised, constructive play.
During the school calendar year, Kids Connection provides daycare for most school breaks and teachers' in-service days.
For more information, please contact Charity Aton, Director of Children's Ministry.
The summer program runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, during the months of June & July. Themed weeks include games, crafts, a weekly field trip, water fun, and other short trips to area parks and the Plainfield public library. Children bring their lunch each day, and a snack is provided. There is quiet time during the busy day when children rest, read, or watch a movie. Your child will not want to miss out on our fun filled summer!
