Before or after the service, feel free to stop by the Coffee Area in the Main Lobby. Grab a cup of coffee, say hello, and enjoy a few moments of connection.

Join us for Palm Sunday as we remember the day Jesus entered Jerusalem to cheering crowds waving palm branches in joy and expectation. Within days, those same voices would cry, “Crucify him.” Palm Sunday holds both celebration and sorrow, inviting us to walk with Christ as his journey to the cross begins.

This meaningful service helps us reflect on the depth of Christ’s love and prepares our hearts for the passion story that unfolds during Holy Week.

A Sacred Time of Worship and Reflection

Join us in the Sanctuary on Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. for a moving Maundy Thursday worship service. This is one of the most meaningful services of the year.

Through scripture, prayer, and song, we will walk through the final hours before Jesus’ crucifixion. While Easter Sunday celebrates the risen Christ, Maundy Thursday invites us to slow down and remember the depth of Christ’s love, the weight of his sacrifice, and the path that led him to the cross.

It is a quiet, reflective service that helps us fully experience the story of Holy Week and prepares our hearts for the hope of resurrection.

Annual Good Friday Service | 12 p.m.

The Plainfield Church Federation invites the community to gather for the Annual Good Friday Service on Friday, April 3, at 12 p.m. The service will be held at Plainfield Friends Church, 105 S. East St., Plainfield.

Christians from across Plainfield will come together for a time of scripture, prayer, and worship as we reflect on the sacrifice and love of Christ.

Make plans to attend, pause in the middle of the day, and share this sacred moment with the wider Plainfield community. All are welcome.

Good Friday Youth Vigil | 7 p.m.

Join us for a powerful Good Friday Youth Vigil on April 3 at 7 p.m. in the Youth Room (#200). Enter through Door #3.

Led by Youth Leader Brandon Denman, More Than Conquerors and Friends, and youth from our community, this unique service uses storytelling, music, and multimedia to reflect on Christ’s journey to the cross.

This meaningful evening invites us to slow down, listen, and remember the depth of Jesus’ love and sacrifice.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come experience this powerful night of reflection together. Everyone is welcome.

Plainfield United Methodist Church invites families to a FREE community Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. on the church grounds at 600 Simmons St., Plainfield.

Children ages 0–12 will hunt for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises. To keep the hunt fair and exciting, children will be divided into age groups, giving everyone a real chance to gather eggs, prizes and candy.

Expect the joyful chaos kids love—baskets swinging, laughter everywhere and the thrill of spotting that next egg hiding in the grass. It is a classic Easter tradition shared with neighbors and friends in a safe, welcoming community space.
