Classic Christmas Eve Worship

December 24, 2025 - 11:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Join us this Christmas Eve at PUMC for a sacred, uplifting celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Our traditional candlelight worship brings together beloved rituals, timeless music, and the warmth of a community gathered in faith.

We begin by hearing the biblical Christmas story—the miracle in Bethlehem that continues to shape our hope today. A message of love, peace, and promise follows, inviting us to reflect on the meaning of this holy night. As one community, we’ll share in the sacrament of Holy Communion*, a reminder of Christ’s grace for all.

Music fills the sanctuary through the shimmering sound of handbells and the majestic voice of the pipe organ. Treasured carols and hymns guide us deeper into wonder and worship. The service concludes with a candle-lighting as we lift our voices together for a moving “Silent Night, Holy Night,” filling the room with a warm glow and the peace of Christmas.

Come celebrate with us. Experience the beauty, light, and hope of Christmas in our welcoming sanctuary.

*In the Methodist tradition, Holy Communion is open to all.
