Advent Angel Sightings
Mondays during advent at 7:00 pm
This Advent season, step into the wonder and mystery of "Advent Angel Sightings," a sacred journey of hope, faith, and divine encounters. Starting Monday December 2 at 7:00 pm, join us for a small group study that explores the role of angels in the Advent story in combatting fear. From their heavenly announcements to their comforting presence, angels reveal God's love and calling upon our lives as we prepare our hearts for the birth of Christ.
Through thoughtful discussion, reflection, and prayer, we’ll explore how these messengers of light continue to inspire our faith and empower our witness in the face of anxiety and worry. Come with open hearts and an eagerness to discuss how God is inviting us into courageous living. Whether you're seeking clarity in Scripture study, spiritual renewal, or simply a moment to pause and reconnect, this study will bless your Advent journey. Reserve your spot, and let's share this holy time together.

Calling All Angels
Advent Series starts december 1, 2024 in the Sanctuary
"Do not be afraid"—the angels' refrain rings through the ages, touching hearts and stirring souls to faith and courage. Imagine a life where fear has no hold, where every step forward is lit by a divine confidence, unshaken by the storms of uncertainty. Fearless faith doesn’t ignore challenges; it rises above them. It is a quiet yet powerful resistance, a choice to embrace love and hope over doubt and despair. Like those who first encountered the angels’ message at Jesus’s birth, we, too, are invited to step into the mystery of God’s plans, empowered by a courage that transforms. This is the faith that fuels dreams, ignites missions, and holds convictions strong. When fear falls away, we discover a deeper peace, anchored in trust. We, like the shepherds, are invited to live in bold surrender, our hearts echoing the angels’ refrain: "Do not be afraid." With this assurance, we open ourselves to God’s invitation to live fully, to love deeply, and to walk in purpose beyond fear.
From Generation to Generation...
Advent Series starts december 1, 2024 in the Worship Annex
From Generation to Generation, we are each part of a vast tapestry of legacy and growth, woven by those who came before and stretching into the future. The root word of “generation,” *gen*, meaning “origin” or “birth,” calls us to remember the beginnings that shaped us. Our ancestors planted seeds of resilience, wisdom, and love that now bloom within us. Their spirit is in every breath we take, every step we make. And we, too, are called to be sowers. What seeds of justice, kindness, and belonging will we plant for the future? Who are the spiritual elders among us, the ones who nurtured these values into our lives? Their faith and actions remind us that life is about cultivating community, weaving connections, and embodying the divine in every encounter.
In a world often marred by division, we are called to choose unity and love. This Advent season, let us be vessels for God’s unfolding work, carriers of hope and renewal. As we look to the future, may we embrace this sacred calling: to generate life, to nurture faith, to be light-bearers in a world hungry for connection. The story continues, from generation to generation, with us.
