How to Stay Connected to Plainfield UMC

During this ever changing time, it is more important than ever to stay connected; connected with your family, friends, and your church. Phone calls, facetime, messaging apps and other electronic means are becoming vital.

Starting this week, and continuing forward, Plainfield UMC will be using social media in ways we have never used it before. Stay tuned for Facebook Live devotions and prayers, storytime for children, live and recorded performances from PUMC,  and much more.

The Plainfield UMC app is full of all sorts of good stuff! From there, you can:
  • get the weekly worship folders,
  • watch worship (live and recorded),
  • tithe and give,
  • listen to music from NewDay Praise Spotify Playlist,
  • read the Circuit Rider, latest and past issues
  • fill out a Connection Card, and
  • send prayer requests.

The app is ever evolving and new features are added alll the time.
You can download the app by going to from your mobile device or tablet and follow the appropriate link.

Sign up for the weekly eNews email. This email goes out weekly with information about the the current week’s worship, news articles, links to the worship folder and past sermon archives.

The Circuit Rider is also delivered by the eNews email once a month. The electronic version of the Circuit Rider is formatted to work perfectly on a tablet, or other mobile device or computer.
Bookmark in your favorite web browser (I personally like Google Chrome).

As we move further along in this journey, more and more content will be coming to PUMC’s online presence. We are hoping to be able to add electronic Bible studies, prayer groups, and more in the future.

If you have any questions about any of this or would like to volunteer to host a virtual meeting (we’ll train you), please feel free to contact Eiric Shriner, PUMC Communication Specialist, at [email protected].
