Fundraising Goal Met! Thank you!

If you were in worship at PUMC today you heard the truly phenomenal news that the $575,000 goal for the Pipe Organ Restoration Campaign has been met!

That’s right: With your generous support, PUMC has achieved its fundraising goal and the cost of restoring and enhancing our pipe organ for generations has been fully funded. The “Hershey's Kiss Thermometer” has been filled to overflowing!

Aside from the obvious financial success of this campaign, it became clear to me through many conversations that PUMC is a congregation that can tackle anything they wish. No financial barrier stands in our way. No obstacle too large to overcome. When we listen to the call, chart our course wisely, and “work, work, work” to bring that call to fruition…there is absolutely nothing we cannot achieve.

Next time you see Zoe Wiltrout, Vern Sullenger, Les Taber, Brenda Barnett or Pastor Charlie, give them a hearty hug of thankfulness for it was through their leadership on the committee that PUMC met this financial goal.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the soon-to-be-delivered pipe organ console which will be displayed in the main lobby in the early weeks of November.

With gratitude for your support…and three cheers of congratulations,
Michael
