Music and Worship Arts Ministry
Director: Jacob

The PUMC Music and Worship Arts Ministry includes opportunities for persons of all experience levels and gifts to make a meaningful contribution to worship. The diversity of genres and art forms presented in worship includes classical repertoire, jazz and contemporary worship, music from the gospel tradition, large and small ensembles, as well as spoken word, theater, dance, and visual arts.

The PUMC Music Ministry is committed to ensuring the future of high-quality worship arts locally and across the nation. Host of the semi-annual "Commission Competition" which inspires emerging composers to write accessible, quality choral music, this church is committed to the future of arts in worship.

Additionally, the Music and Worship Arts ministry is a key component of outreach throughout the Plainfield and greater Indianapolis areas. Frequent outreach opportunities include leading worship in the Plainfield Correctional Facility, raising our voices in area senior living communities, and presenting an annual choral-orchestral concert free of charge to the community.

Contact Music and Worship Arts Director Jacob Wolverton-Tipantasig for more information about any musical or worship arts group.
